Mindful Acne Care

Know What's Really In Your Products

Try our Acne Safe Ingredient Tool

Not every ingredient is acne-safe, especially if you're acne-prone. Paste any product's ingredient list and we'll flag the pore-cloggers, irritants, and hidden breakout triggers, so you can make confident choices for your skin.

Copy the full ingredient list from the product packaging or brand website. Separate ingredients with commas.

Individual skin reactions vary — an ingredient rated comedogenic may not cause breakouts for everyone. Always patch test new products and consult an esthetician or dermatologist for persistent acne concerns.

FAQ — Healthy Skin Club
Check the back of the packaging, or search the brand's website — most product pages list full ingredients. You can also search the product name on INCI Decoder or CosDNA.
Not necessarily. Comedogenicity ratings are a helpful guide, not a guarantee. Everyone's skin is different — an ingredient that clogs pores for one person may be completely fine for another. Use this tool as a starting point, not a definitive verdict.
High concern ingredients have well-established links to clogged pores or irritation and are best avoided by most acne-prone skin types. Moderate concern ingredients are worth knowing about — they may be fine for you, but are worth monitoring. Low concern ingredients are flagged as a heads-up, but are generally tolerated by most people.
We focus on the most commonly flagged ingredients backed by dermatological research. If something isn't flagged, it doesn't automatically mean it's problem-free — it just isn't on our current watchlist. We update the database regularly.
This tool is for informational purposes only and isn't a substitute for professional advice. If you're struggling with persistent acne, we always recommend seeing a dermatologist — or booking an appointment with Bianca at Healthy Skin Club.
